Dear Members and Friends of JASH,

We love all our local small business owners in Hawaii, whose stores brighten up shopping center with their innovative, fun, and creative offerings. Since the start of the global pandemic one year ago, many small businesses have had to pivot and reimagine how they do business to survive. TODAY, Thursday, March 18 at noon, we are honored to sit down with local entrepreneur Tanna Dang, owner of boutique Eden in Love, as she shares how she and her team fought their way through the challenges of COVID-19 and the lessons they learned to come out bigger and better than ever. This Zoom webinar will be moderated by Monchalee Ota, owner of Nimbus Unlimited, LLC and JASH NexGen member.

Eden in Love is lifestyle boutique popular with locals and Japanese clientele alike. As a brand, Eden is committed to being authentic with their customers by empowering confidence and sparking inspiration in communities around the globe. Eden in Love has a long history of giving back to the community, and locally they have been strong supporters of Japanese American events such as the Cherry Blossom Festival.

Congratulations to the United Japanese Society of Hawaii for publishing their “Renkyo no Ayumi” commemorative book!

JASH congratulates the United Japanese Society of Hawaii (UJSH) for the publication of their “Renkyo no Ayumi” commemorative book, which illustrates the legacy of their organization and members. UJSH serves as a bridge between the numerous Japan-focused organizations and kenjinkai in Hawaii. Both UJSH and JASH are members of the Kizuna Group, another local organization that brings together individuals from various fields, organizations, and walks of life with the shared goals of perpetuating the history of Japanese-Americans in Hawaii; fostering friendship between Hawaii and Japan; and remembering what their ancestors brought, established, and nourished in the Islands.
