JASH Weekly Update: Taste of JASH Tasting Tour 🥂
Dear Members and Friends of JASH, We've missed our in-person events, and so we are thrilled to invite all of our members for the opportunity to join our exclusive Taste of JASH Nomu Edition Tasting Tour on Saturday, June 11! Aboard the comfortable EV HiBus provided by TP Transportation, this tour will first visit Hawaiian SHOCHU Company in Haleiwa, where owner Ken Hirata will share how he sources local ingredients, ferments koji, and distills shochu using traditional methods. The second stop on our tour is Manoa Honey & Mead in Wahiawa, where owner Yuki Uzuhashi will teach us about their mead-making process, following their honey from their apiaries through to their meadery. Learn all about the production process straight from the owners themselves, and browse their variety of LOCAL, small-batch products, perfect for Father's Day!
