JASH Weekly Update 7/15: LAST DAY to Join Golf Ball Drop!

Dear Members and Friends of JASH, It’s the LAST DAY to JOIN OUR GOLF BALL DROP FUNDRAISER!

Golf Ball Drop Fundraiser Monday, July 19, 2021 11:10am Winners announced Thurs., July 22

With the help of Mauna Loa Helicopters, this fundraiser drops 1,000 golf balls from the sky over a designated hole at the Mid-Pacific Country Club. This fundraiser is open to EVERYONE---you don’t need to be part of the Golf Classic to participate! Winners will be announced at our virtual Awards Pau Hana on Thursday, July 22, and will be contacted individually shortly thereafter, no attendance necessary. The FIVE BALLS to land in or closest to the hole will win incredible prizes, including:

  • A gift certificate for One-Night Ocean Facing Room Accommodations with Breakfast for Two at The Westin Hapuna Beach Resort (Hawaii Island)

  • Brunch for Two at Orchids at the Halekulani

  • GRAND PRIZE Vacation Package for Two to Las Vegas courtesy of Pacific Honda!

  • Or two other awesome prizes!

Nakamura Kazutaro: ART of KABUKI - From Classical Kabuki to Art Kabuki, Moving Forward

Join the Japan Society of Northern California for a very special program with Kazutaro Nakamura, one of Japan’s rising stars of Kabuki, as he explains his journey from traditional Kabuki performed on stage to “Art Kabuki,” a new multi-media art form that melds traditional and modern esthetics. In response to the pandemic, Kazutaro created “ART Kabuki,” which offers a modern Kabuki experience, introducing modern cinematic technology, music, aesthetic, and fashion.
