JASH Weekly Update 10/14: 2021 JASH Silent Auction Fundraiser
Dear Members and Friends of JASH, SAVE THE DATE—Our 2021 Silent Auction will be held online from December 10-14, 2021, with auction preview starting on December 7. Our Silent Auction is one of our biggest annual fundraisers and is part of our annual Bridge Awards Event. Proceeds from the auction go directly to JASH so that we may continue to produce programming for our community. From professional events like JASH 5:01 and special-interest speakers, to networking social hours like Natsumatsuri and Taste of JASH, to our beloved educational programs like Japan Wizards Competition and the Asian-Pacific Children’s Convention, we build bridges between the U.S. and Japan through the unique perspective of Hawaii for all levels and ages. ABOUT THE 2021 BRIDGE AWARDS EVENT—While we are excited to hold our Bridge Awards Event in-person this year (more information coming soon), we ask for your understanding as we have transformed its format to address health concerns. With everyone’s safety as our highest priority, we need to limit event seating, and it is with our sincerest apologies that we will not be able to offer general ticket sales this year. Consequently, we will not be able to welcome many of our incredible JASH ʻOhana who regularly attend and support us through this event. If you do wish to support JASH through the Bridge Awards Event, we invite you to join our online Silent Auction.

This is the LAST WEEKEND to get your final votes in for our Photo Contest! Thank you for all of your active participation over this past month. Thanks to all of your votes, we’ve now determined our top 10 photos in each category. Our first and second-place winners will be determined during this Final Voting Round, held from October 8-17. Final voting is again open to EVERYONE, so tell your friends and family to vote for their favorite shots! You may vote once per email address per day during this round, meaning you can vote for your top photo once per day!
