Dear Members and Friends of JASH, Amidst all the various negative news that has come about due to the COVID-19 outbreak there is a bright side to all of this at least. Studies have shown that air quality has been improved approximately 20-40%. The World Health Organization provided statistics that estimate more than 4 million annual premature deaths annually due to complications involving poor air quality. This vast improvement in air quality is excellent news and can be thought of as the silver-lining to the COVID-19 pandemic.
